Boris and Shirley King are co-authors of The Unsinkable Spirit, Episode I, In Search of Love, Adventure & Riches. At the age of 24 they decided to go for their dream. Shirley King's background is in the corporate world as a project assistant for a major global oil company. She traded her professional career to become an adventurer, sailing with her husband and two boys for many years. Her patient personality was an essential ingredient for educating her children as they embraced many new adventures along the way. Consequently she became the VP and CFO of Spirit of Adventure Sailing Cruises. With her keen organizational skills, detail-oriented nature and her love for antiques, she was inspired to start one of the largest antique import and retail businesses in western Canada.
