Just two months. That's all the time Boris and Shirley had to sell their house, car, and all their possessions to pay for the ship of their dreams. And even then they wouldn't have enough money to complete the deal unless something changed fast.
But financial pressures weren't the only kind that Boris and Shirley had to deal with. There were also their friends and colleagues, with their well-meaning advice: "You guys are nuts!" "It won't work and you're crazy for trying!"
Most discouraging of all was a letter from Boris's parents in Croatia, who write to say goodbye to their son before he perished on the high seas.
