They would be looking at boats--just looking. That's what Boris and Shirley told each other as they set out on an Easter visit to Vancouver. And in truth there wasn't much to look at, so it seemed. There were luxury boats priced for the purses of millionaires. Every boat that was remotely within their financial reach was either too small or so leaky that it was slowly sinking at the dock.

Boris and Shirley's hopes of ever setting out on their voyage of discovery were sinking too. But as they walked toward a restaurant for a last meal before leaving Vancouver, a boat in the marina caught Boris's eye, and when the captain invited him and his family aboard, Boris and Shirley fell in love with the Nausikaa III as instantly as they had fallen in love with each other.

Would the captain sell her? Well, he was thinking about it. But even if he would, how would the Kings come up with the money soon enough to close the deal? It was completely crazy.
