How strange to be in the middle of the open ocean, with no land in sight from horizon to horizon!
Boris's family were becoming accustomed to life at sea, but Boris had a problem. Every day he struggled to reconcile his reckoning by speed and direction with the sightings he took from the stars. Day after day the two reckonings failed to agree. Where in the world was Nausikaa III
Days passed, and then one day Shirley's sister-in-law Ann spotted a ship on the horizon. Perhaps its crew would know what latitude and longitude they were at.
But as they approached the ship, something seemed wrong. Why was the ship flying no flags? Why did it not answer the radio calls from Nausikaa? Why was there no sign of life on board?
Was this a ghost ship? Or something else?
